Liveable Housing Assessment

We assess your home design to see whether it meets the Liveable Housing Australia (LHA) guidelines. This will ensure your home can be easily adapted to meet the changing needs of its occupants over time.

Why is a Liveable Housing Assessment Needed?

All new work to a commercial office, or place of business, must meet the National Construction Code (NCC) and comply with AS1428.1-2009 design for access and mobility.

We can review plans to ensure standards are met and provide practical, cost-effective solutions to allow the refurbishment to meet regulatory requirements.

Home and Renovations Assessments

A home is required to meet the changing needs of families over time and from October 2023 all new homes and renovations will need to meet the liveable housing design standard set out in the building code. Our Liveable Housing Assessor will review plans to ensure compliance and advise where alternative construction methods or arrangements need to be made.
